The day temperatures settled at 36 degree Celsius, two points above normal, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.8 degree Celcius, which is also two notches above normal, Met department officials said.

Traffic snarls were noticed at several places, including Kashmere Gate, Munirka, Dwarka, Dhaula Kuan, Sarai Kale Khan, Rajghat, Kalindi Kunj, Barapulla and Moolchand.
The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky with rain and thundershowers in some areas on Tuesday.
