Anne Hathaway joins protest march over kidnappings

Actress Anne Hathaway attended a protest march here to call for the release of the kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls.
The Oscar winner and her husband Adam Schulman became the latest celebrities to back the cause, and marched the streets here on Thursday in a Bring Back Our Girls rally, reports contactmusic.com.
The teenagers were kidnapped from a school in northern Nigeria last month during a night raid by members of the Boko Haram extremist group, who want to keep the girls away from western education.
To demand urgent action over the scandal, the actress used a megaphone to lead the crowd in chants to support the cause.
Documentary filmmaker Ramaa Mosley, who attended the rally, said: ‘She came and surprised us and her voice was louder than everybody else.’
