An ode to love

Gauri  Kappal calls music  her saviour. The young piano artiste finds music as the guiding light of sorts giving her the direction when she was at the most crucial juncture of life and everyday ever since.

The artiste is all set to enthrall the audience with her solo show organised in the Capital on Friday (24 October). Kappal will be playing some of her’s favourite bollywood classic numbers that have over the years come to symbolise love and longing, romance and desire. Padmashree Shovana Narayan will grace the occasion with her presence.

Kappal says, ‘I am fortunate to be able to weave my passion into my profession. Piano for me is empowering, liberating, and when I am playing, I feel truly accomplished.’

‘This concert is going to be a milestone in my journey. My recitals will be an ode to love, which remains the purest expression of human existence, timeless and forever enchanting.’
