Alstom bags Rs 200-cr machine order for Bajaj Infra power plant

Alstom T&D India on Monday said that it has bagged an order worth Rs 200 crore from Bajaj Infrastructure Development Company for supply of equipment to its 1,980 MW power plant in Uttar Pradesh.
The contract is for supply of electrical balance of plant package for Bajaj Infrastructure’s upcoming 3x660 MW thermal power project in Lalitpur. It is worth around (Rs 200 crore), Alstom T&D said in a statement.
Alstom T&D will be responsible for design, engineering, supply and installation of th equipment. The Lalitpur plant is expected to be commissioned in 2015.
