Alleged criminal stabbed to death by accomplice

An alleged criminal was stabbed to death by one of his accomplices in East Delhi's Prasad Nagar area.

The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar alias Nata, who had four cases of robbery and theft registered against him at different police stations in the city, DCP of Central Delhi, Paramaditya said, adding, the accused has been arrested on Monday.

The body of Rajkumar, a resident of Krishna <g data-gr-id="26">Nagar,</g> bore stab wounds on <g data-gr-id="25">abdomen</g>, chest and back of waist and was found in Gali No.2 of Krishna Nagar locality at 7 am.

An FIR was registered at Prasad Nagar police and investigation <g data-gr-id="34">was</g> launched in which it was found that Nata had enmity with one Kapil, 23, who was last seen with him yesterday, said the officer.
Kapil was arrested by the police from Anand Parbat area. 

The knife used in the crime and blood-stained clothes of the accused have also been recovered, he  said. During interrogation, Kapil admitted to committing crimes along with Nata and said they had a dispute over <g data-gr-id="22">share</g> of looted valuables two months ago.

He told police that after the dispute he feared that he might be killed by Nata and so he himself hatched a plan to kill him first.

He called Nata at Gandhi Maidan on Sunday. After drinking liquor together, Kapil offered to drop Nata on his motorbike. When they reached Gali No 2 in Krishna Nagar, Kapil stabbed Nata multiple times and fled from the spot, the DCP said.
