Alia bhatt turns 22, Wishes pour in

Alia Bhatt, who turned 22 on Sunday, has been showered with wishes by her contemporaries like Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor.

“@aliaa08 birthday time!!! Happy happpppy birthdaaaaay!!! Have lots of fun and lots of cake!!! ;) :D MUAAAHH,” Shraddha tweeted.

Parineeti also wished the best. “Aliaaaa!! @aliaa08 Wish you the happiesttttttt of birthdayss!!!! Lots of love, happiness and success to youu :) !!!!,” she tweeted.

Dabangg star Sonakshi Sinha hoped Alia has a ‘super duper’ birthday. “Happy happy birthday desi kalakaar @asliyoyo and patakha guddi @aliaa08! Have a super duper one.” 

Student of the Year director Karan Johar also took to Twitter to wish the actress. “Happy birthday my darling @aliaa08....love you lots and you make me so proud!!!!”

Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh had good wishes for the birthday girl. 

“Happy birthday @aliaa08 have an even better year than you did last year. Big love,” tweeted Abhishek.

Riteish posted on Twitter: “Ever so sparkling @aliaa08 - have a wonderful birthday - big hug.”

Alia made her debut in the film industry alongside Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in Student of the Year in 2012.  She will be seen next with Shahid Kapoor in the Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar. The movie is based on destination wedding, where both – Shahid and Alia – suffer from Insomnia and the sleepless nights bring them closer.
