After watching news on TV, bus owner comes to aid

The white line bus in which the 23-year-old paramedical degree holder was gangraped belongs to one Ram Chandar, a resident of Delhi.

It was alleged by a source that while after watching the news on television, Dinesh Yadav, 34, who runs a travel agency in Noida, told the police himself that the white line buses encrypted with Yadav Travels belonged to him.

With this tip-off on late Monday evening, Yadav and his brother Mukesh, who also runs a travel agency in Noida, were picked up by Delhi police cops. They told the cops about the exact description of the bus. After a few hours, the bus was recovered.

Dinesh, a resident of Sarfabad village, Noida sector-71, and runs his business in Z- block, Noida, sector-12, for the last 15 years. ‘He told police that Ram Singh and Mukesh were his employees and he had received several complaints regarding their rash driving,’ the source said.

‘Dinesh also provided photographs of Ram Singh and Mukesh, with the help of which raids were carried out,’ he added.

When Millennium Post contacted Dinesh on his mobile, a constable at Vasant Vihar police station picked up and said he was not allowed to pick up his mobile.
