Admissions to CS Executive Programme announced

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced admission for its CS Executive Programme, officials said on Friday, even as it laid down the criterions for the graduates seeking entry. 

“Graduates seeking admission till August 31 will be eligible for examination in <g data-gr-id="16">June,</g> 2016,” an official said.   

Graduates of any discipline – BA, BSc and BCom barring Fine Arts, are eligible to apply.  Foundation pass of ICoAI-CMA/CPT pass of ICAI can also pursue the CS executive programme. 

“Candidates, seeking to apply can also register online at www.icsi.edu,” he said.  

“The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a premier national professional body (imparting education primarily through distance learning) established under an Act of Parliament to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries,” he said.  

Headquartered in Delhi, ICSI functions under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Corporate Affairs and with over 40,000 members and Over 4 lakh students, the Institute is in constant endeavour towards the transitioning of Company Secretaries as Governance Professionals.

The institute also provides postal and oral coaching and training to students to qualify as Company Secretaries, who are now recognised as Key Managerial Personnel under the Companies Act, 2013.
