Abhishek still feeling uneasy, say doctors

Notwithstanding the slight improvement with regard to fever and body ache, Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee continued to feel uneasy and had to be put on intermittent nebulisation support, according the health bulletin issued by the Belle Vue Clinic on Monday.

A received severe injury after the car he was travelling in hit a milk van which was being towed away by a recovery vehicle on Durgapur Expressway on October 18.

The bulletin further stated that a repeat MRI of the affected part was undertaken, which did not show deterioration.

Doctors of the Medical Board examined all clinical reports and checked his vitals and advised continuation of treatment on the existing lines.

He continues to be under treatment and observation for all vital parameters.

A team of specialists from Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital, who had undertaken tests on him, gave a satisfactory progress report.
