Abhijeet’s top seed in Delhi int’l chess fest

GM and former world junior champion Abhijeet Gupta will start as top seed and hot favourite in Delhi international chess festival which gets underway on Saturday. Over 700 participants have registered for the tournament which is split into three different sections for the first time since its inception 12 years ago. The premier event has over 100 participants. GM Aleksej Aleksandrov of Belarus will be second seed and Andrey Deviatkin of Russia, Czebe Attila of Hungary and Raset Ziatdinov of US are third.
