Abandon all hope ladies, Cumberbatch is hitched!

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch is officially off the market! He and his pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter secretly married in the presence of close friends and family.

Cumberbatch and Hunter, walked down the aisle at the 12th-century St. Peter and St. Paul Church near Brighstone Saturday, reports telegraph.co.uk. A reception followed at Mottistone Manor. The scene of the wedding was low-key, with a group of about 12 well-wishers gathering to watch the arrivals at the church.

The couple, who announced their engagement in November last year, were keen to exchange vows before Hunter delivers their baby. 

Among the guests was Cumberbatch’s Sherlock co-star Andrew Scott. Hunter was shielded from cameras and onlookers by umbrellas as she entered the church. About 40 minutes later, the couple emerged to cheers and left in a vintage Jaguar. 

The duo decided not to pose for photographs after the ceremony, but went straight to the 

reception.
