AAP workers protest against Pakistan

Workers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday staged a protest outside the Pakistan High Commission, condemning the propaganda being spread by the neighbouring country over surgical strikes carried out on its land by the Indian Army.

The party workers slammed the Pakistani media for creating a false news. “We have full confidence in our Army that they conducted the surgical strikes and gave a benefiting reply to terrorists and Pakistan, which is a supporter and an exporter of terror. We want PM Narendra Modi to shut the mouth of Pakistan with evidences,” said Dilip Pandey, Delhi AAP convenor.

Pandey, along with seven AAP lawmakers some party workers, were detained by the police. They were brought to the Chanakyapuri police station but were later released.

Pandey said if our government comes up with the evidences, Pakistan’s lies will be exposed at the international level.

“We differ with the PM on various issues, but on national security we are one.We will oppose Pakistan if it is a matter of prestige and security of the country,” said Pandey. He added that Pakistan was not only sending terrorists in India but also engaged in propaganda at the international level.
