AAP to field Alka Lamba from Chandni Chowk

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday announced to field former DUSU president Alka Lamba from Chandni Chowk assembly segment. The party also announced names of five more candidates including two former MLAs Akhilesh Pati Tripathi from Model Town and Mahendra Yadav from Vikaspuri.
With this list, the party has come up with names for all the 28 seats, except party convenor Arvind Kejriwal who will contest from New Delhi constituency. So, far AAP has announced names of 51 candidates out of 70 assembly segments for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. In the new list, ex-MLA from Seelampur Dharmender Singh has not been replaced by Haji Ishraq. Jarnail Singh will contest from Rajouri Garden while Devendra Sehrawat has been given a second chance from Bijwasan.?
