AAI targets 23% higher gross sales this fiscal

Airports Authority of India (AAI) has set itself an ambitious target on returns from its services in the current financial year (2013-14), which is 23 per cent more than what was set for last year.

Airports Authority of India plans to achieve gross sales of Rs 7,760 crore in fiscal 2013-14, which is approximately 23 per cent higher than the target for financial year 2012-13, the state-run airports body said in a release on Tuesday.

This was stated in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Airports Authority of India Chairman V P Aggarwal and Civil Aviation Secretary K N Shrivastava for the current fiscal. Joint Secretary (Civil Aviation) Anil Shrivastava and AAI Board Member Alok Sinha were also present on the occasion.

The memorandum of understanding spells out the targets to be achieved by Airports Authority of India in key performance areas during the current financial year.
