AAI announces bid for duty free shops at 13 airports

Offering excellent business opportunities to entrepreneurs, Airports Authority of India has announced <g data-gr-id="14">schedule</g> of opening of bids for <g data-gr-id="15">duty free</g> shops at 13 premier airport outlets across the country, officials said on Monday. 

These are opportunities “in duty free business across globe to develop, operate and maintain duty free outlets at its 13 premier airports in India to bring in world class unique and peerless duty free products and brands enhancing passengers shopping experience,” he said.   The officials also announced the schedule for submission of bid documents. 

The bids are invited for 13 centers -  Amritsar,  Goa, Trichy, Lucknow, Pune, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Chennai, Mangalore, Calicut and Jaipur. India is termed one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world. “The AAI, in its <g data-gr-id="17">endeavor</g> has been expanding aviation infrastructure with state of art facilities at its airports,” an official said.
