A sweet Diwali, with a twist
Chefs across the city are trying their hand at whipping up some special Diwali dishes. But then let's separate the men from the boys.

Chef Prem Kumar Pogakula, Executive Sous Chef at The Imperial shares with us two of his latest creations for this festive season - The Puffed Lotus Nut Seeds (Makhana) Kheer with Almond Chikki and the Chocolate Gulab Jamun Millifile with Truffle and Crumble.

Both the dishes are available in 1911 at The Imperial on request only. We have included the recipes of the desserts below if you are ambitious enough to try them at home for Diwali.

1911 also has their regular Sunday buffet on (Rs 2900 per person without taxes) and they will be hosting live stations on the terrace for guests on Diwali.
