The Capital is going to see a soulful evening depicting a journey of music and dance with storytelling. The Tabla Academy of Ajrada Gharana presents  live performances of 7 Essence.
Renowned artistes like Rupak Kulkarni (flute), Akram Khan (tabla), Murad Ali Khan (sarangi), Fateh Ali Khan (sitar), Madhu Shankar (kathak), Nupur Shankar (vocal and parhant) and Shuheb Hasan (vocal and harmonium) will be spreading the fragrance of their art under one roof. 

7 Essence is the platform which comes all the aspects of Indian music and dance. Instrumental music consists of different forms like blowing, bowing, plucking and strokes.
An artiste of all India radio Kulkarni’s first solo flute performance was at the age of 11 in Baroda where he spellbound around 1500 music lovers. Since then he has performed in almost all prestigious music conferences in all over India and abroad. He is also a sought after musician in World Music. 

Akram Khan recieved his initial training from Late Ustad Niazu Khan. He has been participating in prestigious festivals across the globe. Murad Ali Khan has composed music for his own band, Soul Samvaad and have won several prestigious award. Artiste Fateh Ali belongs to the sixth generation of a family of sarangi players of Moradabad Gharana. His first sitar solo album Tasir Sitar has been released by Underscore Records. He has been doing various contemporary and Indian classical music albums with international musicians, as Jazz album  with The Indian Core from Norway. Madhu Shankar  is the founder director and choreographer of the Natya Stem Dance Kampni. She has studied various movement disciplines like Kalari Payattu, Thaang ta, Iyengar Yoga, Pedagogy, Body mind centering, and folk dances of India.

All the artistes together will create a evening that is to be look out for.
