A hundred columns of wit

Talespin is an anthology of her one hundred columns in newspapers. Columns that are delightfully eccentric and funny yet thought provoking and insightful.

Nickunj Malik’s journalistic career began with the Khaleej Times office in Dubai, twenty-two years ago. Since then, her articles have appeared in various newspapers including Star (South Africa), Business Times (Tanzania), Bahrain Tribune (Bahrain) and Jordan Times (Jordan), where she was a weekly contributor.

Eminent writer and playwright Farrukh Dhondy? would be launching? the ?book on January 17 at The Maurya , Diplomatic Enclave in presence of the ?Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,Hassan Mahmoud Mohammad Al Jawarneh. Talespin’s narrative is  gripping and easy to read with illustrations by Osama Hajjaj, Jordan’s leading cartoonist.

The book has been praised by the likes of Farrukh Dhondy who has also written a foreword for the book. Nickunj grew up in various parts of India and pursued her Masters degree in English Literature  from Punjab University, Chandigarh.

Nickunj’s  sense of humour, style, vitality, craziness, her gregarious personality and her uncanny ability to laugh at herself and avoid the pompous and the posturing of society have given her ink a certain edge that is honest, often piercingly so but still pleasant and positive. Nickunj loves to spend her free time singing, reading and going for long walks.

The book will also be available on Flipkart.com, Amazon.com, Home Shop18?.
