95% JU students land jobs through campus placements

The students of the prestigious JU have once again proved their mettle by securing jobs in top multinational companies.

According to the university sources, the job placement in the current year has once again showed that the students of this university are always ahead of the others which they have proved time and again. In the current year, more than 21 students of the JU have secured a high salaried job with 35 lakh per month. Apart from this, more than a hundred students have got job with 10 lakh per annum. Recently, Asif Mohammed, a student of the JU has secured a job in Google. It was learnt that his annual income is nearly Rs 1.10 crore.

Many of the students have their employment in other famous companies like Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft and organisation like Bharat Petroleum which came to the JU for campus interview this year.

A senior official of the university said that around 90-95 per cent students from the JU have already got jobs at various companies. Most of them have got employments of their own choice. He also said that as the university authorities have looked into the placement issues in last 3-4 years. They will try to continue the same success story that the university has witnessed on Thursday.

Though, the students from the Science and Technology have got maximum jobs, in Arts department less number of students got job in comparison to other two streams. The official said that there was a little drop in the number of placements for the Arts students because there was a natural tendency of the Arts students to pursue Phd.

It may be mentioned that in last couple of years the campus placements were relatively low compared to this academic year. This had become a major concern for the University authorities as the premier institution in the past was one of the favourite hunts for the big companies.

As the number of students getting job through campus interview got dropped in last few years.
Following last few incidents some people started pointing fingers on the students of the JU saying that the students from this prestigious institution are more involved in
various movements and not in study.

This year’s campus placement once again proved that the students can once again bag high salaried jobs in top companies. This year’s result will boost the confidence of the students pursuing their various courses in the university.
