7-yr-old allegedly sexually assaulted in Okhla

A seven-year-old girl allegedly sexually assaulted was discovered unconscious and bleeding profusely at an isolated spot in South Delhi’s Okhla on late Monday night.  The girl stays with her parents in Harkesh Nagar area of Okhla.

In the afternoon, the minor had gone to attend her tuition classes. However, her parents got worried 

when she did not turn up till late evening. 

Her father works in a private company and her mother is a domestic worker.

The minor’s parents raised an alarm which led the police to discover the girl lying unconscious in the nearby jungle. 

It matched with the victim’s profile and she was taken to AIIMS’ Trauma Center. According to police 

officials, the girl has been assaulted and dumped there. 

However, it is yet to be ascertained if she has been sexually assaulted.
