60-year-old woman caught with heroin by Crime Branch

She was 60-year-old and once brought heroin for her addict son and was later lured into the drug racket to earn quick money. Chander Kala was arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch and heroin worth rupees one crore was seized from her possession.

The cops received the secret information that one woman Chander Kala is indulged in supply of heroin in Delhi after procuring it from Bareilly in UP. The cops developed the information that Chander Kala would come under Wazirabad flyover on the Ring Road to deliver the heroin to a person named Javed, who used to supply heroin in Mangolpur and Sultanpuri area.

A trap was laid near under Wazirabad flyover leading towards Majnu Ka Tila and Chander Kala was apprehended. During her cursory search, one kg fine quality heroin was recovered from her possession. The cost of the seizure is worth one crore in the international market.

Chander Kala’s younger son is a smack addict. He used to take heroin from other drug peddlers. Due to bad habits of her son, she came in contact with the friend of his son and once visited Bareilly to bring heroin for the use of her son in small quantity from an unknown person. A person namely Khan met her. Khan lured her to earn huge money by selling heroin.
