Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer had to cut short its show here after the band’s guitarist, Michael Clifford, suffered burns on the face in an onstage pyrotechnics accident.
The mishap occurred while the band was playing on its second night at the Wembley Arena here on Saturday, reports variety.com. In videos uploaded on social media by fans, Clifford can be seen accidentally walking into a pyrotechnics display, with his hair catching fire. He then rushed off the stage, fanning away <g data-gr-id="8">smoke</g> with a towel. Clifford’s bandmate Ashton Irwin then told fans that they would not be continuing with the show.
