5 killed as car hits pedestrians

Five persons were killed and three others injured when a speeding car ploughed into a group of people in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, police said on Thursday. 

The victims were standing alongside a road when the incident occurred in <g data-gr-id="7">Bijay</g> Nagar area last evening, police said. The deceased were identified as Mahaveer Singh, Vishnu Jat, Kanhaiya Lal, Sampat Singh and Ranveer Singh.
