4-member team to probe Lucknow Metro mishap

A four-member team was constituted on Monday to probe the causes that led to the mishap at the ongoing Lucknow Metro project, which left three persons injured.

The team set up by Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan comprises senior officials of the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC), including its Director Daljeet Singh.

It has been asked to submit its report in 15 days, an official spokesman said here.

Ranjan directed setting up of an emergency response team comprising officials of LMRC, Larsen and Toubro construction firm, the District Magistrate and the Senior SP to deal with such eventuality in future.
