4 Jews killed in Paris to be buried in Israel

Four Jewish hostages killed in the terror attack on a Kosher supermarket in Paris will be laid to rest at a cemetery here on Tuesday, even as Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to French Jews to immigrate to Israel and promised a “warm” welcome. Robert Ejnes, the director of the CRIF, an umbrella organisation of French Jewish communities, who is coordinating the transfer of the victims’bodies to Israel told Ynet news portal that the four victims will be laid to rest in the Mount of Olives cemetery in Jerusalem.

The four victims have been identified as, Yoav Hattab, 21, Yohan Cohen, 20, Philippe Braham, 45, and Francois-Michel Saada, 64. Four dead hostages were found at the market killed by Amedy Coulibaly. The attack on the Kosher market came before sundown on the Jewish Sabbath, when the store would have been crowded with shoppers. In all 17 people were killed after three days of bloodshed in and around Paris.
