35-year-old housewife found dead at home

A 35-year-old housewife was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her south-west Delhi residence, police said today.
The incident was reported from Bindapur last night and the deceased has been identified as Simran Grover, wife of an autorickshaw driver who is absconding.
Neighbours called police after foul smell started emanating from their house and investigators broke open door to find a decomposed body.
"The TV was on. Her body was on the bed. She appeared to have been strangled. We believe she was killed at least two days ago. The killer seems to have deliberately left the TV on with its volume high to ensure that her screams do not alert neighbours," a senior police official said.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to locate her husband.
