3 held for making illicit liquor

Three persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in manufacturing illicit liquor in Rohini district’s Alipur area, police said on Friday. Police, on Thursday, received secret information about some persons involved in manufacturing illicit country liquor in Jhangola village located on the banks of Yamuna river, DCP (Rohini) M N Tiwari said. A team conducted a raid at the spot. Two drums, four aluminium vessels, 15 litres of raw liquor filled in tube, 11 drums (two filled and nine empty) and four cans of raw material were recovered, he said.
