3 dead as motorcycle rams into tempo

Three men died when their motorcycle rammed into a tempo parked near the Punjabi Bagh flyover at West Delhi on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. The victims have been identified as Nishant, Yogesh and Manish. All were students and were in their early twenties.

According to the police, the accident took place at around 1 am when the three, all residents of Uttam Nagar, were heading towards their home and rammed into a tempo which was parked near the flyover.
A passer-by informed the police and they took them to different hospitals where all of them succumbed to their injuries during treatment, police said. 

A senior police official said that the tempo driver, Mohd Imtiaz, has been arrested and booked under the provisions of the law. 

Police <g data-gr-id="15">has</g> registered a case under rash driving and causing death due to negligence under Sections 279 and 304 (A) of the IPC against the errant driver at the Punjabi Bagh police station.
