28-yr-old wanted criminal held

Delhi Police Crime Branch have arrested a 28-year-old man who was wanted in a murder case of his sister in Najafgarh area, police said on Tuesday.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Pardeep Saini who had murdered his sister over a property dispute. “Saini is also involved in 12 cases of murder, robbery, <g data-gr-id="21">car jacking</g>, attempt to murder,” the police official added. “Saini was arrested after an information was received by the <g data-gr-id="24">Inter State</g> Cell that he would come near <g data-gr-id="22">Chhawla</g> canal on <g data-gr-id="23">Bajghera</g>-Gurgaon road to meet someone. On getting this information, a team was constituted and a trap was laid near <g data-gr-id="25">Chhawla</g> canal and Saini was apprehended,” Ravindra Yadav, Joint <g data-gr-id="26">Commisiioner</g> of Police (Crime Branch) said.
On interrogation, it was revealed that Saini completed his 12th from Sonipat in Haryana. His father had already expired and he fell in bad company after leaving studies. After coming into contact with known criminals, identified as Sanjay Bihari, Sandeep Ganja, Parveen, Arvind <g data-gr-id="18">Dhancha</g>, he began to commit petty thefts and robberies. Later, he and his associates committed several big robberies and car-jackings at gunpoint. In 2010, accused Saini committed murder of his associate Arvind <g data-gr-id="19">Dhancha</g> over some monetary dispute.
