21-year-old dies in Zakir Hussain Marg mishap

A 21-year-old property dealer named Dipanshu was killed in a road accident at Zakir Hussain Marg in south-east Delhi late on Thursday night.
Five persons, including a woman advocate, were injured in the incident. The accident took place after an SUV rammed into an Audi, being driven by the woman advocate.
The woman driver lost control of the Audi as a result of the impact of the SUV hitting it and in turn hit a Honda Jazz.
Quoting an eyewitness the police said, ‘A white coloured SUV jumped the traffic light and hit an Audi. The Audi lost control and hit a Honda Jazz. The person driving the Honda Jazz died on the spot.’
Four people who were in the Honda car received injuries as well. The driver of the SUV managed to flee the accident site immediately. The police are trying to trace the car and the driver.
Police rushed the six injured persons to RML Hospital where Dipanshu was declared ‘brought dead’. The others are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
