2 held for looting MCD toll booth

Two men, who had robbed an MCD toll booth at South-west Delhi’s Palam Vihar on Monday, were arrested and the loot amount has also been recovered from them, police said on Wednesday.

The accused have been identified as Sandeep Singh (28) and Dinesh Kumar (31). The incident took place on Monday at around 11.48 pm when a robbery at the Palam Vihar MCD toll booth on Bijwasan Gurgaon Road was executed by two bike-borne assailants. Soon after, a team was constituted and the cops minutely collected all the details of the accused persons from the toll tax employees, thereafter, the team was sent to Rewari to get information about the ownership of the motorcycle recovered from the spot. 

Accordingly, the team interrogated owner Mohan, a resident of Uttam Nagar about his motorcycle, who disclosed that his bike was taken by one Dinesh and is still with him.
