18-yr-old raped on b’day, 2 arrested

An 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two persons, including a juvenile, on Friday night. The accused had allegedly taken her to a secluded place on the pretext of celebrating her birthday. A case was later registered at RK Puram police station.
The accused were identified as Rahul (20) and a 17-year-old boy. Both were apprehended by the police on Saturday morning, said a police official. According to the police, both the victim and the accused persons are from Jalpaiguri in West Bengal.
