11 MLAs appointed as chairpersons to District Development Committees

Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal has on Thursday, appointed 11 MLAs as chairpersons to District Development Committees. They could avail facilities including vehicles, drivers, offices and peons.
The chairpersons of the District Development Committees are Vishesh Ravi, Central District; Raju Dhingan, East district; col Devider Sehrrawat, New Delhi; Ajesh Yadav, North district; Shri Dutt Sharma, North-east district;
Mohinder Goyel, North-West District; Rajendra Pal Gautam, Shahdara district; Dinesh Mohaniya, South district, Amanatullah Khan, South-East district; Bhavana Gaur, South-west district and Naresh Balyan, West disrtict.
The Chief Minister has appointed these chairpersons as an exercise of his power vested under item no (1) of clause 6 of the Order.
The chairperson exercises the powers of the chief executive officer of the district with regards to the reviewing and monitoring of schemes, once the approvals for schemes have been obtained by the respective departmental heads.
