10 shops gutted in Prasad ngr

A major fire broke out at the Tank Road area of Prasad Nagar on Tuesday evening in which 9-10 readymade garment shops were gutted in flames and a 74-year-old woman suffered serious injuries. According to fire department officials, they got a call at around 6.25 pm. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused by 7.50 pm. According to the police, in the incident, an unidentified 74-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to RML Hospital where she is undergoing treatment. The reason has not been ascertained yet. The police, however, said since the area is very congested, fire broke out due to a fire cracker.
