Wolfpack’s in, get howling!

This is Wolfpack’s third performance in India and we cannot wait! The duo is rapidly becoming the epicenter of rising musical talent in Belgium.

Discovered by Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike at Tomorrowland 2011 and immediately signed up for their Smash The House imprint, Wolfpack have exploded onto the EDM consciousness in the past year, gaining huge support from the world’s biggest DJs like David Guetta, Tiësto, Robbie Rivera and Markus Schulz to name a few, for the debut release Rising Moon.

Now exclusive artists to Smash The House, the Wolfpack hype continues to spread like wildfire across the blogosphere. Main stage sets at Tomorrowland 2012 and new music in the form of their latest track Ocarina co-produced with mentors Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike  have only served to open them up to an even bigger audience that crosses not just borders but continents and land masses. By the looks of it all in 2013, the rise of  Wolfpack has just begun.

The duo will be taking over the console on 14 June at Shiro in the Capital. Pencil in the dates and head over. But before that here’s a peek in to what the  guys had to say about Delhi, music and much more in a candid conversation with Millennium Post. Read on!

When did you guys start with this career? And how did it all start off?

We started Wolfpack in 2011, just 2 guys with a passion for music.

How has the journey been? Tell us about the best and the worst times so far...

Till now has been amazing journey, so many crazy parties, people, places...
How did Wolfpack come into existence? We have known each other for 15 years, and we always have been busy with music and entertainment. Winning a DJ contest gave us a place on Tomorrowland, that's where it all started.

How do you like the music scene in India? How is the party scene in India different from the international counterparts? Do you think India can party as hard?

The music scene in India is on the top, people here really love having a good time, the different thing about India is that the crowd shows you so much love!

Any interest in Bollywood music?

Of course, we really love all kind of music, maybe we should try to make a Bollywood progressive mix sometime soon.

What songs top your own playlists right now?

That will have to be Ocarina, it’s crazy to see that everywhere in the world people know our unreleased tracks and sing along with it

How has the party music scene changed from the time you started?

EDM is growing big all around the world, the love and the perfection which organisations are putting in their music  festivals is just unreal.

Is this your first time in India and in Delhi?

No its the third  time  and we will be coming back more often!
