YEIDA hikes property rates, to be in place from New Year

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority on Monday hiked the property rates in its area by 10-15 percent to be implemented from new year.

“The rates of residential properties both individual and group housing has been hiked by 10 per cent. A reasonable 15 per cent hike has been decided for institutional and industrial land while hike in commercial land is 20 per cent,” said Arunveer Singh, CEO of YEIDA after the 103rd board meeting of the authority. 

He further added that the new rate will be applied from 2016 and around 5,000 acre huge chunk of land was reserved for proposed construction of international airport near to Jewar for which a proposal has been sent to the state government.

Singh also added that now authority has 5 per cent partnership in the project of DMRC in the ongoing projects for 21 new Metro stations to be in the city.  The authority has also given some relaxation to the defaulters for the reschedulement in the pending amounts and projects.  A 300 square metre land was kept spate for the construction of building maps which is yet to be approved by the Council of Architecture. 

“ The authority has also planned to construct an ITI in Mirzapur village for the students of village along with pump house and staff quarters. 

The authority has provided online tenders scheme of over Rs 5 lakh budget. We have made a gateway for the easy payment with scheme form, allottee property account system and online services management including public grievances management for any complaints related to the authority” added Singh.

The Greater Noida authority has proposed to have two more projects in board meetings with night safari and helipad near to Gautambudh Nagar University.  According to the Deepak Aggarwal, CEO, Greater Noida Authority, “We are going to do some amendment in master plan 2021 in view of sensing that farmers have problem to in giving land on 10 per cent rate.
