Yamuna Authority proposes five new police stations

With an aim to improve the safety arrangements in the city and maintain law and order situation, Yamuna Authority has sent a proposal to set up five new police stations with the help of city police to the UP government. It is expected that the proposal would get an approval within a month.

The construction would begin as soon as the proposal gets the green signal from the government. The ambit of Yamuna Authority is increasingly widening and there is an alarming need of improving the security arrangements in the city.

PC Gupta, CEO, Yamuna Authority said, ‘Looking at the security concerns, we have prepared a proposal for five new stations in the city. We have sent it for the approval and once we get government’s nod, we will begin the construction of the stations.’

The police administration and top officials from Yamuna Authority had surveyed the area few months ago after which they had sent a proposal to the CEO of Yamuna Authority. The new stations have been proposed at Sector 18, 20, Jaypee Sports Complex, Formula 1 area and Jewar.
