Yamaha Motor India sales jump 57%

Two-wheeler maker Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS) on Thursday reported 57 per cent increase in total sales at 58,151 units for July, 2013.
The company had sold a total of 36,993 units in the corresponding month last year, YMIS said in a statement.
In the domestic market, the company registered a rise of 35 per cent in its sales at 37,494 units compared to 27,858 units in the year-ago period, it added.
