Yamaha India’s 2-wheeler sales breeze 16.5%

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd has reported a 16.5 <g data-gr-id="8">per cent</g> domestic sales rise during July 2015 at 58,591 units, as against 50,286 units sold in the same month last year. Exports during the month stood at 16,689 units as against 15,654 units in the year-ago month, up 6.6%, the company said in a statement. Commenting on the sales growth, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd Vice-president Sales & Marketing Roy Kurian said: “This month we witnessed brisk growth due to our exciting product line-up, new launches during the year and an enhanced dealer network.”
