WWE-style street fight kills 17-year-old

A 17-year-old student was killed in the old city of Hyderabad allegedly in a street fight with another youth, police said on Sunday. Nabil Ahmed collapsed in the fight with another youth, Owais, at Panjesha in the old city area on May 3, in the incident involving nearly seven-eight youths. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, Mirchowk inspector Yadagiri Reddy said. Ahmed’s father Dastagir complained to police after the last rites were over, he said. The body will be exhumed for autopsy, Reddy said. A case of suspicious death has been registered now, but it is likely to be altered into a case of murder after further probe, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) V Satyanarayana. The matter came to light today after the incident, which was filmed, was shown on television channels.
