6 policemen killed in Afghan attack

Six policemen were killed and five others injured on Sunday in an attack in Kandahar provincial capital in Afghanistan, an official said.

"The attack occurred in Kandahar city when the victims were asleep in a checkpoint," the official told Xinhua news agency.
