US Embassy in Nepal shuts down temporarily

Kathmandu: The US Embassy in Nepal halted operations temporarily following a US government shutdown last week.
The American Centre library was closed and its social media services were affected.
The US government faced a shutdown two days ago after Senators failed to agree on a three-week stopgap spending bill due to disagreements over immigration and border security.
