Toddler dies after wall collapse caused by rolling Range Rover

The parents of Pearl Black, a one-year-old girl who died after an accident involving a car in south Wales on Sunday, have said "she has left a massive hole in our hearts. The world will be a darker place without her. She was the reason we all lived." Police are believed to be investigating reports that an unoccupied car rolled down a hill into a wall, which then collapsed, at an address in Heolgerrig, Merthyr Tydfil. Pearl was taken to Prince Charles hospital in Merthyr Tydfil by air ambulance after the incident at 1.39pm on Sunday but died a short time later.Rebecca Morgan, a local resident, said she saw the girl's father standing near the scene of the accident on Sunday night. Morgan said she understood that the family had been to the park and had been walking back when the accident happened.
