Nine die in China coal mine blast

Nine persons were killed and three injured in an explosion in a coal mine in China's Hunan province on Tuesday.
A total of 29 people were working underground when the blast occurred at Zubao Coal Mine in Lianyuan city, Xinhua news agency reported. Sixteen miners escaped from the shaft.
