Congress MLA from Okhla Asif Mohammad Khan on Monday said that he would not follow his party’s whip to vote for the Arvind Kejriwal-led government if a No Confidence Motion is brought in.
‘I will cast my vote against the government in No Confidence Motion if the government does not improve its record on development,’ said Khan adding that if he had the power to take a decision he would have withdrawn the support extended to the Kejriwal government. ‘I will support BJP on the issue of development, if it decides to form the government,’ he added. Khan further said that Kejriwal talks about arrogance of leaders, but he has not seen such an egoist leader like him in his entire political career.
‘All development projects have been stalled as the officers say let the works remain stalled but we are not ready to take the blot of corruption on our career. This government has made the bureaucracy non-functional,’ he added. He further said that the government has completely failed on the development agenda.
