Woman slapped me on behest of water mafia: AAP MLA

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA, Dinesh Mohaniya, was allegedly slapped by a women on the behest of the water mafia on Sunday evening in H-block area at Sangam Vihar.
The MLA told Millennium Post over the phone that he received numbers of complaints for some time that elements from the water mafia were active in H-block, Sangam Vihar area. In order to expose them, Mohaniya along with some of his associates went to the spot and found that the water mafia was running their illegal activities there.
The incident took place when Dinesh opposed them and got into verbal altercation after which a woman slapped him. ‘The incident took place around 4.30 pm when I reached there and they took shelter behind approximately 10-12 women, who were their associates and among them one women misbehaved with me and used abusing language against me,’ said Mohaniya.
However, the MLA said that he was surprised that some section of media have not given the real picture behind the incident and said, ‘it is being reported that due to the water crises in the area some women staged a dharna and when I visited them there a woman allegedly slapped me. This is not true. Once the video arrives in the public domain, truth will prevail.
Meanwhile Mohaniya said that he had made a video recording of the incident as proof, in the complaint filed at the local police station against the accused.
However police said that they have received complaints from both the parties. The MLA and woman had filed the complaint against each other. The woman alleged that she was molested by the MLA. Meanwhile Mohaniya denied charges made by the woman and said that reality will come out when he will present the video.
Mohaniya had won elections from the Sangam Vihar constituency by just 777 votes. AAP had implemented one its poll promises of providing 20,000 litre of free water to every household with water meters. But a large number of connections are not metered denying this largesse to many.
