Woman on parole held for cheating

A 38-year-old woman, who is out on bail in a case relating to her husband’s murder, was arrested here in connection with a cheating case over which she was declared a proclaimed offender, police said on Wednesday.
Police arrested Rajender Kaur from her residence in Rohini in outer Delhi based on a specific input. She was declared as proclaimed offender by a city court in connection with a cheating case. On sustained interrogation, Kaur told police that she has been convicted for murder of her husband Atam Parkash by a Jaipur court.
‘She had been sentenced to life imprisonment in this case and is currently on bail as her appeal is pending in Rajasthan HC. She has been living in various parts of Rohini and changing her residence regularly to avoid her arrest,’ a police official said.
