Woman found murdered under mysterious circumstances

 According to the police, Simran alias Aarti was living alone as she was allegedly separated from her husband. Preliminary investigation suggests that Simran died after her throat was allegedly slit, said a senior police officer.

According to the police, they received a call at around 6:30 am from neighbours that a foul smell was emanating from the victim’s flat. Following which, a team of cops rushed to the spot and found that the woman was lying unconsciousness on the floor. Her body was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead on admission.

Investigators said that Simran married a man named Sunny two to three years back. However, they recently separated and since then she was living alone in a rented flat in Neb Sarai.

 She worked as a small time beautician. Police have informed her parents, who live in the Mandawali area of East Delhi. According to a senior police officer, they have sent the body for postmortem. 

Meanwhile, they are questioning the family members.
