Woman dies after being hit by 17-yr-old, three others injured

According to the police, the incident was reported at around 4.45 pm. The boy was driving his father’s car and he accidentally hit the 50-year-old woman, identified as Meena Devi, said Vikramjit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer). When locals chased him, he was panic-stricken and tried to flee the spot. He took a swift U-turn and ended up hitting three more people on the road. He couldn’t move any further and was stopped by the locals who also called the police.

The four injured people were rushed to the hospital, where Meena Devi was declared brought dead. The accused was not driving in an inebriated state. He first hit one person and turned extremely nervous for which he lost control and hit three others, Vikramjit Singh confirmed.
