A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men including her live-in partner in a moving car on Wednesday.
She was later dumped at an isolated place in Nehru Place on the intervening nights of Tuesday and Wednesday. Two of the accused men have been detained by the police.
The incident came to light at around 1.30 am when an auto driver noticed the woman in disturbed clothes near Nehru Place flyover. The driver immediately made a call to the police control room.
She was immediately rushed to the AIIMS trauma centre for the medical test which confirmed rape. The victim, in her statement told police that on Wednesday her live-in partner asked her to go for a
drive.
Two men known to her live-in partner also accompanied them in a car. One of them also offered her a drink laced with sedative. Once she fell unconscious, all of them took turns to rape her in the moving car, a police officer said quoting her statement.
‘While two men have been detained a man-hunt is on to nab the third accused,’ the police
official said.
